I’m using this space for a simple reason. It’s a working surface for things I don’t want to lose.

Most of my writing lives in too many places at once. Documents, folders, forgotten drafts. Good ideas disappear. I want one place where they can actually be found.

A lot of my work is about business and differentiation. I love that work and I’ll write plenty of it here. But not everything I think about fits inside a commercial frame. Some days the post might be about a client challenge. Other days it might be about Alexander Calder, a baseball moment, a magic trick, or something odd I noticed while walking in town.

You may also see older pieces show up. Every so often I find something I wrote years ago that still holds value or that clients need. This is a good place to put it so it doesn’t vanish again.

I’m not interested in forcing profound lessons out of everything. Freud supposedly said, “Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.” Sometimes a story is just a story.
